Training Dagley’s Annie Video Collection – Part 2
Training Dagley’s Annie is a video collection in our Training a Cow Dog Video Series.
Dagley’s Annie is a Supreme Qualified, Hangin Tree Cowdog out of 4JB Colt and Anni. This collection shows videos of her throughout her training.

Annie helping gather calves across a creek. She is eleven months old here.
David was driving the feed truck and couldn’t drive down in the creek bottom, so it was nice that Annie could go down and gather them up for him.

In order to Supreme Qualify your Hangin’ Tree Cowdog, you have to work cows with your dog in front of judges on a approved course. The judges determine if your dog listens to your commands, and can handle, fetch, and drive cattle away from itself in a controlled manner. We were very happy that Dagley’s Annie passed the test and is now Supreme Qualified. Her qualifying run in front of the judges was a new experience for David, as he had only used cowdogs on the ranch before this time.

David is having Annie practice grouping calves. They are also working on commands. Annie is eleven months old here.
Here Annie is gathering some calves that had drifted away from the main group. When we are feeding, we like them to all come and eat at once. Otherwise some might miss out on the feed.
At eleven months old, Annie is becoming a really big help.
