Dear Dear Becky is the first historic novel written by Susanna Dagely!

“Elizabeth Wenstrom (Lizzie) and her family leave the family farm in Utah. They travel south to Arizona in search of a warmer place to call home. Throughout their journey, Lizzie fills this journal with letters that she wrote for her cousin back on the farm.”

Did you want to know an interesting fact? Dear Becky was originally written down in one of Susanna’s journals, along with a few illustrations, when she was in her teens. Then, Susanna pulled it out and rewrote it over ten years later.

In the back of this novel, Susanna has including a list of historic places Lizzie went with short descriptions.

This book is a 52 page book with pen and ink illustrations.

We recommend this book for children ages 8-12.

Susanna Dagley, her husband David, and their three children live in South Dakota. Susanna helps her husband with ranchwork, homeschools their children, and helps take care of their families goats, chickens, and Hangin Tree Cowdogs. In her spare time Susanna likes to sew, draw, garden, and write.
