Registering a Hangin Tree Cowdog
Registering a Hangin Tree Cowdog is different from other breeds because they require that you provide video footage or photos proving that your dog bites both the heads and heels of cattle.
The purpose is to sort off any dogs that don’t have the courage it takes to be a cowdog, keeping the breed strong.
This video is the one we sent to the Hangin Tree Cowdog Association Board to prove Reata could be registered.
We also filled out our registration request in our on-line association account, and got them Reata’s appendix papers.
They reviewed her video and information, then updated her status on our on-line account to “Permanent Registered” and got us her new papers showing her status.
