Hank Learning to Gather – 11 Month Old Cowdog
Hank is an eleven month old Hangin Tree Cowdog out of Wilcox’s Slate x Dagley’s Annie.
Hank came back to us for a little bit of training.
David worked with him on basic training, did a few sessions on the training cattle, and then this was his third time out in the pasture on a larger group. So, this video more shows his natural instinct when it comes to gathering, as he’s had very little training at this point.
It pretty neat to see how natural Annie’s pups are at getting around cattle out in the pasture!
