“Back in 2020 we did research on purchasing our next cattle dog and came across hanging trees.
We’ve never heard of this breed before so we started watching Dave and his dogs on YouTube and absolutely loved the way these dogs handled cattle and responded to Dave.
We knew we wanted one of their pups from their breeding program. Due to living in Canada it wasn’t easy to just drive over and get one, and with Covid we weren’t able to cross the border unless it was essential.
Dave and his family went above and beyond for us to get our pup we call “Rein”. We have been working with her on cattle (moving them in and out of pens) as well as sheep. She’s been absolutely perfect as our cattle dog and with being only 8 months old she’s excelled our expectations. We cannot wait to get our next hanging tree from the Dagley ranch!”
