For Sale – Trained Stock Dog…

Chief is a two year old, intact male stock dog that David Dagley trained from a pup and sold as a started Stock Dog.

Now David is tuning Chief up to sell him for his current owner.

We bought Chief as a Hangin Tree Cowdog pup. But when we sent in his DNA work it didn’t match his papers, so he cannot be registered.

Chief’s is trained to get on the back side of cattle and bring them to you unless you use commands to place him in a different position. So, if you want to drive cattle with him, he will need a little more handling because his desire will be to get ahead, stop them, and bring them to you.

David used him off 4-wheeler, horseback, tractor, pickup, and on foot to work calves, yearlings, bulls, and dry cows. Haven’t tried him on pairs yet.

Chief would make a great ranch dog for someone that doesn’t care about papers.
